Greenfield Project - Aspropyrgos

Year: 2008
Customer: ARCHITECTURAL A. Tombazis

The aim of the design was to create a landscape that “communicates” with the building. Elliptical shapes were used as the basic design element creating levels of planting, thus creating leveled spaces surrounding the Administration building. Linear planting in order to draw attention to the building’s ‘heart’ interrupts the elliptical forms.
The design took into account bioclimatic criteria; all trees planted at the Northern areas are deciduous to allow winter sunlight.
Olives were used on the flat surface between the eastern slopes, in order to give emphasis to the landscape of the surroundings of the Building Complex.
